The story behind this wall starts with one very amazing fanfiction by called The Violet Room. Boo ( ) and I both fell in love with it, regardless of the fact that that its a pairing that I dont normally associate. Im not a pairing-Nazi anyway, so it never concerned me, especially because the writing was brilliant.
It also included the fact that my sister had a large, blank violet wall in her room that needed something. Despite parents initial opposition, we managed to convince them and I got the all-clear to begin composing the writing for the wall. Now, mind you, I had no idea of the scale and how much I would or wouldnt need of writing. It was kind of a shot in the dark. I thought I would have more than I needed, so I wrote some extra paragraphs at the end, thinking they would be cut anyway. As we got halfway, though, we realized more needed to be written and, instead of just writing about each character, I included a lengthy section on Castle Oblivion.
As for the content, I knew I wanted it from Zexion/Ienzos point of view after his death. I wanted him to be remembering his past, starting with the apprentices and ending with the fall of Castle Oblivion. What was also apparent was that I needed to tailor my writing style to something more abstract and distant. I did take my liberty with some thingsgranted, I dont know what twists are around the bend in upcoming games, especially those that are concerning the apprentices. But I worked with what I knew, and at least I know most of it is solid or, at least, how Zexion would have seen it.
The diagrams correspond to the text around them. They are pretty self-explanatory. Unlike the text, I was the one who drew the diagrams, and I also went through and did the bolding on most, if not all, of the words. Again, with the diagrams, I took my liberty. If something is not 100% the right angle or the right scale, its because I either chose to make it that way, or I had no choice and had to improvise.
If requested, I can post the full text of the piece here. Im a little embarrassed to, though, because my writing does not to the fanfic or the story justice.
The story/characters are not mine (squareenix), but the writing and diagrams are. This took many hours to do, so any comments would be very much appreciated. We would love to hear them.
You are so modest, I love the text! Especially the sarcastic stuff you wrote between the lines of the script to make me laugh. ^_^ I think you should post THAT copy of the text.
It's so amazing I don't even know what to say! It's so much cooler than I ever imagined in my... head. The line down the middle like a book spine, OMGGGGGG. *flails around wildly and spams everyone she knows with the links*
The diagrams are amazing--I could never draw something like that with Sharpie on a wall! And the text looks so cool, with the bolding and sizes changes... and it looks like a book, AKBHSDFLKDNSF! I honestly am just sitting here totally rambling and feeling like I'm going to pop from too much excitement and awe and just... everything! KYAH~!!
I absolutely would love to see the full text (um, what is this 'doesn't do justice'? From what I can read, it's wonderful!!!) I would even love to see those sarcastic comments in-between! XD
...I'm off to link this to my fanfiction profile and fave every single one of the pictures.
Eeeee! You've seriously made my whole week.

I'm glad you like! c: It was really fun and rewarding to do, ultimately.
Yeah, the line down the middle was meant to give it that book feel. Plus it made it easier to keep things level. I could only imagine the nightmare that would be writing across the whole wall in one line!
I can honestly say that I am so glad I did this. We finished it right in time before I went off to college, so it was a nice way for Boo and us to spend time together while we could.
The diagrams were fun--we kind of just played them by ear, really. We'd come up to a section we wanted to put a diagram in and went 'eh...we're talking about Vexen. Let's do his shield.' I penciled them out first, of course (lol, so I'm not talented enough to just sharpie them on), and then went over them again.
*nodnodnod* I'll put the full text up, then. *blushblushblush/hides* The sarcastic comments sheet is something Boo will have to scan and...translate, as my handwriting is sooo sooo sooooooo bad. Work in progress?
I'm so glad you like! I hope other people like it as well--we spent many long hours on it, so we want to spread the joy!
It all amazing, but the line down the middle was something I totally never imagined, so it just stands out to me as being 100% perfect. It looks so wonderfully like a book and I could totallyyyyy see him writing that way, maybe without even thinking about it!
I'm so glad you had fun with the whole project and got to spend time together! Now it's a lasting reminder of your adventures (with hair spray and markers) together!
The diagrams are really amazing. Even if you say you just put them in, they seem perfectly suited where they are! And they look so good~!
Hee hee, I totally want to read it all! I bet I'll be all gushy over it too. XD
I posted links in my journal and on my profile~! I hope lots of people see your hard work.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are so sweet. I can't imagine having a more supportive person to associate this with. c: You've truly been so encouraging. And as I know the next chapter of the Violet Room is right around the corner, I can't wait to read it (I know Boo has been pining after it for months now, and painfully so, might I add).
Point being, you're amazing and so very nice. c: I hope to keep seeing you around.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

People tell me that I'd loose my own head if it wasn't screwed on. That's so stupid!
